Job Summary
Lead the development, review, and maintenance of monthly Estimates at Completion (EACs) for assigned programs while analyzing financial performance, including labor, material, overhead, and budget variances. Develop Plan vs. Actual reporting to recommend corrective actions, provide proactive financial guidance for profitable execution, and support milestone planning and contract scope changes. Identify, communicate, and escalate financial risks to leadership during monthly program and job cost reviews. Partner with Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to improve forecasting accuracy, translate complex financial data into business insights, and strengthen financial processes. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in program finance or FP&A, and experience in aerospace or government contracting. Salary range $100,000 - $140,000 with a 9/80 work schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, program finance, FP&A, or a related analytical role
- Experience supporting engineering, aerospace, manufacturing, or government contracting environments
- Strong understanding of program financial management, Bills of Material (BOMs), labor costing, scrap analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting
- Experience with Estimates at Completion (EAC), Earned Value Management (EVM), and variance analysis
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling and analysis of large datasets
- Proficiency with Power BI, Microsoft Word, and Outlook
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national
- Must be a U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder)
- Must be a Refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157
- Must be an Asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company's immigration sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined in 22 CFR 120.62
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred
- Experience supporting proposal pricing, revenue recognition, and program financial reporting preferred
- Experience with ERP reporting and business intelligence tools preferred
