Job Summary
Role focuses on bridging program strategy, funding, and financial compliance for U.S. Enterprise. Responsibilities include managing grant relationships and communications with donors, coordinating governmental and non-governmental grant submissions and narratives, developing and reviewing proposal budgets, ensuring proper coding and reporting structures, monitoring spend and burn rates, producing grant Budget vs. Actual and general ledger reports, coordinating monthly budget meetings with program managers and Co-Directors, and supporting procurement and contract processes. Requires collaboration with Grants Management Unit, Marketing and Engagement, and Accounting; leads in financial coordination for government and foundation grants, and supports annual operating budget development and forecasting. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience), 5 years of grants/nonprofit finance experience, strong attention to detail, ability to balance priorities, and proficient communication and Excel skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
- At least 5 years of professional experience in grants management, nonprofit finance, or a closely related role
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and highly organized with numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; advanced Excel skills a plus
