Job Summary
Field Manager will serve as the main point of contact for a cohort of AmeriCorps Coaches and partnering organizations in Baltimore, ensuring high-quality services and outcomes. Based in Baltimore, the role supports onboarding/exiting processes, compliance with funding requirements, maintains electronic records, conducts host site visits, delivers program orientations, helps organize coach trainings and events, coordinates activities with stakeholders, reviews site applications, cultivates new partnerships, and assists in monitoring and evaluation. Occasional travel locally and nationally may be required. Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills are essential to mentor and support AmeriCorps Coaches and ensure program success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in nonprofit administration, operations, youth program coordination, recreation administration, or school-based administration
- A minimum of two years of experience in a nonprofit or school-based organization
- Ability to work on a team and be self-motivated; experience working with remote teams preferred
- Ability to travel throughout Baltimore with own vehicle or public transit
- Two to three years of experience working with underserved youth
- Understanding and interest in both theory and practice of sports-based youth development
- Experience developing collaborative partnerships among various stakeholders
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively and work on multiple projects
- Computer literacy and well-developed technology skills
- Experience working with AmeriCorps national service grants preferred, but not required
