Program Facilitator (Part time)

Job Summary
Develop and deliver structured, strengths-based learning experiences for young adults aged 17–35 with mild disability and neurodivergence, prioritizing self-determination and capacity building. Facilitate hands-on, experiential programs that connect curriculum to real-world pathways through relationships with participants, education partners, and community organizations. Adapt learning content to ensure engagement for all learners while working alongside a small, collaborative team to scale impact across hubs. This part-time role requires onsite presence at the Alexandria hub between 9am and 3pm, with additional availability for planning and non-face-to-face work. Candidates must hold a Working with Children Check and demonstrate experience in group-based facilitation for individuals with additional needs.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience facilitating group-based learning or programs for young people or adults with additional or individualised needs
- Adapting approach and learning content to ensure all learners are catered for and are engaged in learning
- A background in education, youth work, disability education, or a related facilitation role
- Experience planning and delivering structured, strengths-based, outcomes-focused learning
- Confident use of technology to support learning, engagement, and communication
- A Working with Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain one
- Facilitators are required to be onsite at a Co-Hive hub
- Availability needed outside face-to-face hours for planning and non-face-to-face work
- Part time vacancies available for 2 to 4 days (Monday and Tuesday or Wednesday and Thursday) for Term 4
Desired Qualifications
- A teaching qualification or Cert IV in Training and Assessment
