Job Summary
Facilitate volunteers and deliver engaging presentations introducing FMSC’s mission and food production procedures; greet volunteers, address questions, provide clear instructions, and show appreciation. Lead a Christian prayer over packed meals. Perform warehousing tasks including standing, walking, lifting 30-50 lbs, pallet-jack operation, moving heavy inventory, and using hand tools. Maintain a clean, food-safe facility and support packing sessions to ensure smooth workflow. Bring high energy to a fast-paced, collaborative team. Schedule includes a consistent weekly pattern with at least one evening shift during the week and every other Saturday. Location: Chanhassen, MN. Part-time role with benefits including PTO, vision, 401(k) with employer match, and employee assistance program.
Required Qualifications
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend and reach during 6-8 hour shifts
- Lift 30-50 lbs. repeatedly
- Move heavy inventory using a pallet jack
- Use hand tools, like utility knives
- Provide exceptional hospitality to volunteers: greet, answer questions, give clear instructions, address concerns
- Lead a Christian prayer over packed meals
- Maintain a clean, food-safe facility. Do laundry, wash dishes and clean floors, surfaces and bathrooms
- Deliver polished, engaging large-group presentations introducing volunteers to FMSC’s mission and food production procedures
- Ability to work consistent weekly schedules with at least one evening shift and every other Saturday shift
