Job Summary

Lead the delivery of the Foundation's hospital-based entertainment programs and family concierge services, supporting children, young people, and families during their hospital experience. Provide day-to-day leadership for a team of five direct reports, overseeing the safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed delivery of programs including Kidzone, Bedside Play, resource loans, Paw Play, and Family Concierge. Work closely with hospital teams, volunteers, and the wider Impact Programs portfolio to manage service quality, program integration, stakeholder relationships, and continuous improvement across the portfolio. This permanent full-time position is based in the Queensland Children's Hospital in South Brisbane.

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in business, public health or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience coordinating multiple programs or services in a healthcare, hospital, community or family service environment, including documentation, data capture, reporting and evaluation
  • Minimum 3 years' experience leading staff and/or volunteer teams, including rostering, onboarding, coaching, performance support and maintaining a positive, values-led team culture
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, deliver and improve child, youth and family-centred programs, with a strong understanding of child safe practice, professional boundaries, privacy, confidentiality and informed consent
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and engage sensitively with children, young people and families experiencing vulnerability, distress or prolonged hospitalisation
  • Experience using service data, budgets, procurement processes and supplier relationships to monitor outcomes, support reporting and drive continuous improvement
  • Australian citizen or a permanent resident
  • Eligible for a Blue Suitability Card (Working with Children check)
