Job Summary
Oversee the South Mississippi CAC operations: manage center staff, implement policies, drive program development, foster interagency collaboration, and perform grant-writing and financial stewardship. Ensure compliance with CAC policies and regulations, maintain accreditation/licensure, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (MDT), supervise hiring and staff development, manage budgets and data reporting, and participate in ongoing program evaluation. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (minimum) with a Master’s degree preferred, at least 3 years of management experience and 2 years of experience with children who have trauma histories; strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse professionals; valid driver’s license, willingness to use a personal vehicle, and moderate travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Management/Administration, Law Enforcement, or related fields (minimum)
- Master’s degree preferred
- Three (3) years of management/leadership experience
- Two (2) years of experience working with children with trauma histories and their families (preferred)
- Knowledge of Child Advocacy Center operations and mission
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working with diverse professionals from child protection, law enforcement, court systems, and related community services
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Willingness to use personal vehicle for organization business
- Moderate travel
- Criminal history background check required
