Job Summary
Plan, direct, and coordinate program activities while ensuring compliance with DPA, DHS, IDPH, HBWS, and COA standards. Define staffing requirements, schedule staff, and respond to call-offs or emergencies. Develop and monitor client personal plans, facilitate service coordination, and evaluate program effectiveness against objectives and budgets. Manage the program budget and ensure timely completion of all reports and documentation. Provide direct supervision, training, support, and evaluation for assigned staff. Maintain professional integrity in interactions with clients, families, and collaborative organizations. Full-time Monday through Friday schedule with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with individuals with development disabilities
- Minimum of two (2) years of managerial/supervisory experience
- Experience developing and implementing policies, systems, and procedures
- Demonstrated understanding of applicable rules and licensure requirements
- Experience making decisions, planning, directing and/ controlling work
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, verbally and written
- Excellent organization, presentation and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software
- Background check clearance
- Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency
- Access to reliable transportation
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage
- Nursing Home Administrator License or must obtain within 12 months from date of hire
- Bachelor's degree in social work, occupational therapy, speech pathology, education, special education, registered nurse, or human service-related field
