Job Summary
Directs programs and services, ensures compliance with licensing, regulatory, and contract requirements; develops policies and operational practices; monitors program performance and outcomes; leads quality assurance and grant reporting; supervises staff and provides professional development; promotes trauma-informed care, participant-centered services, and evidence-based practices; collaborates with leadership on strategic initiatives and organizational growth; maintains awareness of industry trends and regulatory changes.
Required Qualifications
- Must have current license from Texas Department of State and Health Services (LCDC, LMSW, LPC)
- Five years’ experience working in behavioral health
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, counseling, addiction counseling, or related field from four-year college or university
- Five years’ experience in SUD and/or behavioral health treatment in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders
- Proven ability to manage a diverse staff of human service professionals
- Knowledge of DSHS regulations and licensure standards
- Experience implementing/practicing Evidence Based Practices, Trauma Informed Care, and ability/experience to teach these to others
