Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of the hospice program in Aiken, managing administrative functions and local office affairs under senior management guidance. Forge connections with physicians, hospitals, and nursing facilities while building a team through hiring, orientation, training, and evaluation. Ensure compliance with hospice-specific regulations, laws, and policies, including Medicare/Medicaid matters, by implementing corrective actions as needed. Implement policies and procedures approved by the governing body and drive growth through external market relationships and customer service excellence. Maintain intimate knowledge of Department of Aging and Disability Services regulations to support quality care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care management, home health, hospice, or related health programs
- Two (2) years of hospice experience
- intimate knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and Department of Aging and Disability Services regulations
- Operations and/or Sales Leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships in the communities served as well as within a company
- Skilled at establishing/maintaining working relationships with key staff, marketing contacts, and clinical staff
- Experience in analyzing processes, improvement planning, supporting change, and effectively managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
