Job Summary
Set the example of professionalism for program staff and students while ensuring academic quality and faculty engagement. Recruit, train, and supervise faculty members, conducting regular performance feedback and coaching as needed. Manage departmental operations by conducting staff meetings, maintaining faculty files, and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditor standards. Document ongoing faculty development activities and assist with curriculum review, budgeting, and procurement. Review and ensure accurate scheduling, conduct surveys, and advise students on licensure and placement outcomes. Participate in advisory committee meetings, self-studies, and annual reports to maintain program accreditation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four years clinical experience as an RRT
- Two years' experience in a CoArc accredited program as an educator or clinical preceptor
- Minimum of bachelor's degree
- Must hold a valid Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential
- Must hold a current state license
- knowledge of the respiratory therapy field and the clinical application of the classroom knowledge
