Job Summary
Direct CCCYO Transportation operations and workforce development programs, overseeing student transportation, fleet maintenance, and safety compliance. Recruit, supervise, and mentor staff while establishing departmental goals and performance standards. Manage operational budgets, negotiate service contracts, and lead strategic initiatives to prepare individuals for employment in the transportation industry. Serve as primary liaison with stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure alignment with organizational priorities. Prepare comprehensive reports for executive leadership and funding agencies. This executive-level role supports Catholic Charities' 40-year commitment to child safety and community workforce development.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years' experience of management in school bus transportation or related field
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required school bus endorsements and certifications
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive as required for business purposes
- State Certified School Bus Driver Instructor
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Fingerprints
- TB Screening - Negative Tuberculosis Test
