Job Summary
Develop, implement, and evaluate program policies, procedures, and goals to support student success while supervising and mentoring faculty. Coordinate class schedules, faculty assignments, and program activities to align with institutional needs, maintaining compliance with accreditation and certification standards. Design, update, and enhance curriculum to meet industry standards, integrating hands-on training and real-world applications into coursework. Assess student learning outcomes, adjust instructional strategies, and advise students to promote retention and career readiness. Cultivate partnerships with healthcare providers for externships and represent the institution at networking events and accreditation meetings. Teach classes as permitted by programmatic accreditors and assist with graduations as requested.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of clinical MA experience (with valid MA Certification) OR 5+ years of clinical MA experience (without valid MA Certification)
- Associate's degree in related field
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of prior teaching experience
- Current knowledge of specific subject being taught
- 10 % travel required
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in phlebotomy, immunizations, venipuncture, injections, pharmacology, EKG, wound care, GYN procedures and vital signs
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience with EHR/EMR (Electronic Health Records/Electronic Medical Records) and practice management systems
- Proficiency in dosage calculations
- Proficiency in curriculum development and instructional design
- Independently manage complex tasks and projects
- Coach and mentor junior team members
- Analyze problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions
