Job Summary
Program Director for a Behavioral Health population. Requires strong counseling or Social Work background with at least 5 years of experience, and the ability to lead a team of 15-20 daily. Must hold a master's degree or higher in counseling or a social science, be licensed as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) in Washington, and have five years of counseling experience as defined in WAC 388-805. At least one year of clinical supervisory experience is required, with preferred ability to meet SUDP licensing requirements in WA. The role emphasizes program management, budgeting, personnel supervision, and familiarity with statistical methods. Sign-on and great benefits offered. Location: Vancouver, WA, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in counseling or a social sciences from an accredited college or university
- Must qualify as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) and licensed in their field
- Five years' experience as a qualified counselor as defined in WAC 388-805 or its successor
- Minimum of one-year clinical supervisory experience
- Ability to meet licensing requirements of a Substance Use Disorder Professional in Washington State (SUDP) consistent with WAC 388-805 and RCW 18.205 (preferred)
- Experience with budgeting, supervision of personnel and program management
- Registered as a Mental Health Professional in the state if WA
