Job Summary
The Program Director is responsible for developing, managing, and overseeing operations of an active recovery support center focused on peer-to-peer support services for individuals recovering from substance abuse. Key responsibilities include administering center operations, supervising staff and volunteers, managing peer support activities, overseeing strategic planning, and ensuring data collection and report submission. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in recovery, a strong understanding of substance addiction, and experience in community engagement and grant writing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of solid recovery
- Comprehensive understanding of substance addiction and recovery
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Working knowledge of community building and planning
- Proven skills in critical thinking, leadership, and organization
- Strong interpersonal boundaries
- Better than average experience using a computer and required software

- Bilingual (Spanish/English) encouraged to apply
