Job Summary
Oversees a 24-hour residential program serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, brain injuries, challenging behaviors and/or mental health needs. Responsibilities include supervision and training of staff, coordinating person-centered programming and positive support services, maintaining records for regulatory compliance, and ensuring safe, compliant operation. Develops and maintains staff schedules, conducts employee performance reviews, and handles hiring/discipline. Ensures meals are prepared per orders, medications are ordered and administered as ordered, and professional communication with people served, families, outside providers, and staff. Requires a BA/BS in human services or related field, DHS background clearance, a valid driver’s license, and English literacy.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS degree in human services or a related field
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must pass DHS background clearance
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to read, write, communicate in English
- Experience leading a residential program or service delivery for individuals with disabilities (implied senior-level leadership)
