Job Summary

Provide clinical supervision to multidisciplinary staff and oversee treatment planning for a complex forensic outpatient population managing court-mandated cases. Lead crisis intervention efforts, conduct violence risk assessments, and prepare expert witness testimony while ensuring all documentation meets legal and regulatory standards. Oversee program operations including recruitment, training, and quality assurance metrics to maintain compliance with Department of State Hospital guidelines. Manage administrative functions such as scheduling and workload distribution within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology
  • Current licensure as a psychologist in California
  • Experience in forensic mental health settings
  • Experience providing clinical supervision
  • Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau Investigations (FBI), and Community Care Licensing (CCL) background clearance
  • Valid California Driver's license
  • TB clearance
  • Driving record acceptable for coverage by Gateways insurance carrier

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience in program leadership or management
  • Experience in violence risk assessment, crisis intervention, and forensic documentation
  • Experience providing expert testimony and working closely with courts
  • Familiarity with Department of State Hospital systems and related guidelines
