Job Summary
Plan daily group activities at the day program and delegate staff roles accordingly. Coordinate monthly outings, special events, and appointments on a shared calendar. Assist in securing volunteer opportunities and optimize indoor and outdoor space utilization for participants. Manage the goals of multiple individuals and families while maintaining current trainings and attending mandatory staff meetings. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:30pm. The employer provides required training in CPR, First Aid, and other certifications upon hiring.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with individuals with IDD
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation to job
- Punctuality
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to manage the goals of multiple individuals and families on a timely basis
- Ability to pass Background Check/Healthcare Registry Check
- Ability to attend monthly mandatory staff meetings/training sessions when scheduled
