Job Summary
Coordinate and manage overall assigned residential and day programs for individuals with developmental disabilities, overseeing personnel, operations, medical, and financial aspects. Direct staff through orientation, training, and team building while ensuring service quality aligns with person-centered practices and licensing standards. Monitor program implementation by developing individual goals and plans, and provide direct care as needed. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, one year of direct experience with IDD participants, and two years in management within the field. Full-time employment includes on-call responsibilities with varying evening and weekend shifts, hybrid work capabilities, and a $49,400 annual salary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field
- At least 1-year full time, direct experience working with participants with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities
- At least 2 years of experience in management and working with development or intellectual disabilities
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Successful clearance of a criminal background check for licensing requirement
- Ability to lift/transfer and provide personal cares to persons served
- Schedule: Full-time with on call responsibilities
- Schedule will vary based on needs of programs and may include evenings and weekends
- This position will be hybrid with some work from home capabilities
