Job Summary
Program Director at Dungarvin overseeing and coordinating the overall assigned program(s) for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses. Role blends direct care with supervisory duties, including personnel management, orientation and training, monitoring program goals/plans, coordinating operations (medical, financial, maintenance), providing leadership and team building, and ensuring quality of services aligned with person-centered practices and organizational expectations. Direct care as needed; schedule is full-time with on-call responsibilities, evenings and weekends. Requires ability to lift/transfer, provide personal cares, and maintain valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field preferred
- At least 1 year full-time direct experience working with participants with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities
- At least 2 years of experience in management and working with development or intellectual disabilities
- Experience developing and implementing individual programs, implementing budgets, and supervising employees is desired
- Demonstrates good decision-making, time management and communication skills
- Ability to lift/transfer and provide personal cares to persons served
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
