Program Director, DoW Radar

Job Summary

Provide overall vision, strategy, and leadership for the DoW Radar business group, setting goals for orders, sales, growth, and operating performance. Develop and communicate business plans, ROI analysis, and market/product/technology strategies aligned with the corporate plan. Lead a team of Program Managers to implement schedules, budgets, and tasking milestones while monitoring adherence to plans and resource allocation. Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and customer service to execute contract requirements and ensure product quality. Participate in planning sessions to define technology roadmaps and recommend corrective actions for assigned staff. Maintain continuous product improvement and support ISO 9000 and ethical business practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business or related field
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in an Aerospace & Defense
  • Experience with successful implementation of organizational change
  • Experience within the A&D electronics industry
  • Must be a highly organized and effective leader, communicator, decision maker and able to inspire teams to meet program objectives
  • Ability to implement own recommendations and see projects through to completion
  • Strong leadership characteristics, and demonstrated talent development skills
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the manufacturing processes & systems in order to communicate effectively with their external and internal customers
  • Strong working knowledge of industry standards, certifications, and requirements
  • Strong business acumen and comfort in enabling, participating in, and influencing business decisions
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC
  • being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
  • recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation
  • understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL)
  • understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US
  • manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and management skills
  • Program execution, preferable in the defense sector, focused on program execution, EAC's, EVMS as applicable, and the ability to create a team focused on achieving goals, Problem solving where development of new solutions, methods, systems will result in a major impact on the company's success
  • Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all levels of the organization, including customers
  • Work collaboratively within a matrixed organization to ensure the program is properly resourced at all phases of the program with personnel that have the right skill sets and company values
  • Make recommendations and implement improvements to processes, increasing efficiency
  • manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must be available for weekend shifts
  • onsite in Denver, CO, Stafford Springs, CT or Salem, NH is preferred
