Job Summary
Program Director for the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program providing strategic leadership to establish a new graduate Au.D. program focused on community engagement and rural health access; oversees curriculum development, accreditation application and compliance, and budget management, represents the program within the university and professional community, and promotes innovation in teaching, scholarship, and clinical partnerships; requires licensure in Wisconsin (or eligibility), doctoral degree in audiology or hearing science, CCC-A, and demonstrated leadership and educational effectiveness in an Au.D. program.
Required Qualifications
- Active unencumbered license in Wisconsin or license eligible in Wisconsin (must be licensed in WI within 6 months of hire)
- Earned clinical or academic doctoral degree with a major emphasis in audiology or hearing science
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A)
- Familiarity with CAA accreditation requirements and/or experience with other accreditation and regulatory agencies
- Effective leadership and management skills with ability to foster a collaborative, innovative, and energetic team
- Demonstrated effectiveness as an educator in an entry-level audiology accredited Au.D. program
