Job Summary

Oversee the structure and daily operation of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, integrating clinical education with didactic instruction. Coordinate, evaluate, and supervise the program's clinical component while acting as a liaison between clinical agencies and the college. Provide student counseling, maintain clinical records, and calculate quarterly grades in conjunction with the Clinical Coordinator. Evaluate student performance during clinical visits, review performance objectives, and annually assess the Clinical Competency Manual and Policy Handbooks. Maintain student data to analyze retention rates, credential pass rates, and employer/student surveys, ensuring the program meets JRC-ERT standards. Requires ARDMS/ARRT certification, a Master's degree preferred, and two years of radiographer/sonographer experience.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be credentialed
  • In good standing with the ARDMS (AB and OB/GYN)
  • Proficiency in curriculum development
  • Proficiency in instructional methodologies
  • Proficiency in evaluation and assessment
  • Proficiency in supervision
  • Proficiency in instruction
  • Proficiency in education
  • Proficiency in counseling
  • Appropriate credential(s) specific to one or more of the credential(s) offered
  • Equivalent of two years full-time experience as a radiographer and/or sonographer
