Job Summary
Provide strategic direction for learning and development across crisis intervention, advocacy, and case management services while supervising the program manager and team. Oversee supervision of case managers, intensive case managers, and economic empowerment specialists, ensuring accurate data collection, report submissions, and compliance with city regulations and performance measures. Lead weekly case conferencing, carry a small caseload of high-risk cases, and cultivate professional development for staff. Collaborate with onsite partners, city-wide coalitions, and URI divisions to drive program goals and fund development activities. Manage staff schedules and budget performance to achieve annual department targets aligned with the agency's strategic plan.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience working with DV & GBV survivors
- At least 2-4 years of supervisory and program management experience
- Strong knowledge and experience of Trauma-informed practice
- Demonstrated experience in reflective supervision
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, high trauma work environment
- Strong commitment to equity and social justice, including a focus on self-awareness and engagement of continuous learning around issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion
- high level of Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
- Demonstrated sensitivity and experience with and/or knowledge of domestic violence within and against disenfranchised communities, including individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and/or HIV-affected, the elderly, and individuals with mental health issues
- Must possess a demonstrated ability in delivering participant services, including communication and listening skills, understanding of human interaction and personality development, writing and recording case documentation, and skills in group counseling
- Strong organizational skills that reflect an ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly
- Exceptional interpersonal, critical thinking, communication, and writing skills, and the ability to develop positive and productive relationships
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
- Must have the ability to be flexible with work schedule due to program needs
- Acknowledge and application of self-care and work-life balance for self and others
- Work schedule includes four days working in the office and one day working from home with the remote day serving as the on-call day
- Flexibility is required to meet on-site demands throughout the week
- Will be required to read printed and handwritten materials
- Will be required to manipulate the computer mouse and keyboard
- Will be required to read information on computer screen
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to enter information in digital forms and spreadsheets
