Job Summary
Oversee Program Managers, Center Directors, and Assistant Directors while conducting training on statistics, staffing, incident documentation, and hiring. Manage Children's Harbor programs by developing training plans, analyzing budgets, and ensuring curriculum implementation aligned with Virginia ELDS and licensing standards. Conduct unannounced classroom observations, address staff and parent issues, and coordinate partnership programs within the childcare community. Prepare monthly reports for the CEO and CFO, maintain policy manuals, and execute marketing strategies to increase community knowledge of agency programs. Work Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM with reliable transportation required.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
- Experience in programming for young children
- At least five years of supervisory experience in early childhood programs
- Experience with staff development for early childhood programs
- Planning skills
- Financial skills
- Administrative skills
- Organizational skills
- Knowledge of NAEYC Accreditation
- Knowledge of ASQ-3
- Knowledge of Virginia state licensing standards and requirements
- Knowledge of Virginia's quality rating systems
- Computer experience: Creating and reading spreadsheets
- Database management experience
- Childcare management software experience
- Microsoft Office experience
- Data collection and interpretation skills
- Reliable transportation
