Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record as determined by BGCKC Vehicle Loss Prevention Program
• •Must be 18 years old or older to drive Club owned and operated vehicles (7 and 12 passenger vans)
• •Must be 25 years old or older to drive larger Club owned and operated vehicles (15 passenger vans and mini buses)
• •Register with the electronic workforce registry (MERIT) and complete the Portable Background Check
• •Complete the Portable Background Check
• •The DCYF provided School Age Orientation
• •Provide documentation signed within the last twelve months by a licensed health care professional of tuberculosis (TB) testing or treatment information
• •School Age Basics (30-hour STARS)
• •First Aid, CPR & Blood Born Pathogens
• •Must have completed thirty college credits in any one hundred-level or above college coursework OR have completed at least twelve college credits in any one hundred-level or above college coursework or equivalent and complete an additional 18 college credits in any one hundred-level or above college coursework or equivalent within five years of the date of hire per WAC 110-301-0100
• •Must have completed thirty college credits in any one hundred-level or above college coursework
• •Must have completed at least twelve college credits in any one hundred-level or above college coursework or equivalent
• •Must complete an additional 18 college credits in any one hundred-level or above college coursework or equivalent within five years of the date of hire
• •Knowledge of Foundational Quality Standards for School Age Programs (WAC)
• •Two years' experience in management, supervision, or leadership Required at licensed sites
• •Two years' experience in management, supervision, or leadership
• •Two years' youth development experience
• •Demonstrated ability in personnel supervision, facilities management, and the recruitment and retention of key personnel
• •Comfortable with and experienced in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
• •Ability to manage databases, collection information and pull accurate reports
• •Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• •Professional presence
• •Strong customer service skills with the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• •Working knowledge of budget preparation, control, and management skills
• •Ability to work on and manage a team
• •Ability to implement, train and support youth discipline techniques through organizational youth development philosophy
• •Requires the flexibility to adjust shift as needed to include early mornings, and occasional evenings and weekends

Desired Qualifications

• •Two years' experience in management, supervision, or leadership preferred
• •Knowledge and/or experience working with a non-profit youth development agency
• •Boys & Girls Club experience preferred
• •Proven commitment to BGCKC cultural values
• •Knowledge of Washington State Department of Early Learning (DEL) and City of Seattle licensing requirements
