Job Summary
Monitor daily program operations, supervise assigned staff, and ensure compliance with Florida Department of Children & Families, Department of Health, and Council on Accreditation standards. Manage program budgets, review monthly financials, and prepare corrective action plans for non-compliance. Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees while conducting monthly case file reviews and interpreting data trends to submit timely program reports. Assist leadership with grant proposals, community outreach, and networking events. Requires a Bachelor's degree in human services, 3-5 years of program management experience, and bilingual English/Spanish fluency. Reports to Regional Program Director with flexible scheduling to facilitate services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human services field
- 3-5 years of work experience in program management or in a related field (refugee services, migrant service, child welfare administration, child protective services)
- Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Word Perfect, Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Must possess a valid state driver's license and be eligible to drive to facilitate program services as required by contractual agreement
- Required to work a flexible schedule to facilitate program services
- Knowledge of community resources and ability to connect families to community services
- Excellent clinical and crisis intervention skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical assessment and analysis skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is program-specific and may be required by some programs. If not required by the program(s), bilingual is preferred.
- Must be able to pass FBI, and Child Abuse and Neglect Checks for every state in which they have resided in the last five years
- Able to travel to other counties specified in the contract as required
- Must be able to occasionally work extended hours or weekends during peak program periods or events
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work or an equivalent degree in education, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science
- Preference will be given to candidates with applicable program related certification(s)
- Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is program-specific and may be required by some programs. If not required by the program(s), bilingual is preferred.
