Job Summary

Develop and maintain a queue of long-term reconstruction projects across All Hands and Hearts’ countries of operation; conduct hand-over training of the Program team, Project Manager, and Construction Site Coordinators in required tracking tools; contribute to the development of monitoring and evaluation protocols for International Recovery operations; identify and engage local partners for project implementation, fundraising, technical advice, in-country financial operations, and M&E; assist in creating building designs, scope of work, and Bills of Quantities with labor cost summaries; help prepare Project Approval Summaries and coordinate with the Partnerships team to align technical resources and ensure smooth transitions between programs; ensure risk assessments are completed and contribute to security planning; support the broader team in planning, budgeting, and handover of International Recovery projects; perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Civil/Structural Engineering/Architecture or equivalent technical related field
  • 1+ years experience working for All Hands and Hearts, or another disaster response organization
  • 1+ years experience in building design, construction work planning, and creation of accurate BoQs and Materials Schedules
  • Knowledge of international humanitarian standards including Sphere and HAP
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Project (or similar project management software) and Google Suite, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
