Job Summary
Interface with program managers, cost account managers, and business managers to provide financial support and analysis for program planning. Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work while performing Earned Value Management tasks, including Work Breakdown Structure development, budget baselines, and variance analysis. Monitor costs and schedules on validated contracts, ensuring adherence to negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines through expenditure tracking and funding request submissions. Support internal audits, annual operating plans, and financial reporting dashboards. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff. Work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. Requires an active Top Secret clearance and experience with financial systems and Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 12 years of professional experience
- Master's degree with 10 years of professional experience
- PhD with 8 years of professional experience
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with a willingness and ability to get a SCI clearance
- Experience with Earned Value Management
- Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis
- Strong PC skills - specifically Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting)
- 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related field
- Experience with COBRA, COGNOS, SAP
- Experience in training and mentoring junior team members
