Job Summary
Interface with program managers, cost account managers, and business managers to provide financial support and analysis for program requirements. Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work, conducting Earned Value Metric tasks including Work Breakdown Structure development, budget baselines, cost risk analysis, and visibility reports. Monitor costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated control systems, ensuring adherence to negotiated parameters and government guidelines while maintaining accurate expenditure records. Support audits, prepare financial inputs for internal reports and presentations, and provide technical guidance to junior staff. Work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off. Requires Top Secret clearance and proficiency in financial systems and Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience
- Master's degree with 6 years of professional experience
- PhD with 4 years of professional experience
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with a willingness and ability to get a SCI clearance
- Experience with Earned Value Management
- Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis
- Strong PC skills - specifically Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting)
- 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related field
- Experience with COBRA, COGNOS, SAP
- Experience in training and mentoring junior team members
