Job Summary
Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for government programs. Prepare, review, and finalize monthly spend plans to support financial forecasting and compliance. Support pricing strategies for all contract types and analyze cost data to provide actionable insights to program and leadership teams. Collaborate across departments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting while maintaining strict adherence to contractual and regulatory standards. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 5-10 years of experience in program cost analysis within government contracting, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and preferred experience with Cost Point and Cognos. US citizenship and ability to attain government security clearance are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in program cost analysis within government contracting/manufacturing
- Proven expertise in pricing and cost management
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Highly organized and able to adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected events
- Ability to react well under pressure and respond promptly to customer needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- General knowledge of Microsoft Outlook products
- US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Cost Point and Cognos is preferred
- Basic Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/6 Sigma/Kaizen
- Knowledge of specific software (design, analysis, ERP...)
