Job Summary

Oversee the Young Adult Work Link program portfolio by supervising staff, developing policy recommendations, and ensuring alignment with Youth Program Quality Standards. Lead citywide outreach to cultivate strategic partnerships and referral networks while conducting participant assessments and providing intensive case management for youth ages 16-24. Facilitate job readiness workshops covering resume building, interview skills, and career exploration, and coordinate GED attainment and workforce training services. Develop individualized vocational goals, connect participants to external resources for barrier removal, and mentor Program Specialists in content and coaching. Collaborate with the workforce team to strategize program planning and outcomes, and coordinate career exploration events such as worksite tours and networking opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Experience working with diverse youth backgrounds
  • Previous experience in program coordination and development
  • Ability to work with ethnically diverse groups of low-income youth as well as English learners
  • At least 1 year of experience supervising a team of three or more staff
  • Experience working with San Francisco's diverse communities and neighborhoods
  • Experience working with community-based service providers and private sector partners
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and other technology platforms
  • Experience facilitating workshops for youth and young adults
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment
  • Able to lift or move at least 25lbs
  • Ability to work some evenings and weekends

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with diverse youth backgrounds, preferably within youth workforce development programs
  • Bilingual in Cantonese/Mandarin/Spanish and English
