Job Summary
Oversee the Young Adult Work Link program portfolio, supervising staff and facilitating job readiness workshops on resume building, interview skills, and career exploration. Develop policy recommendations, coordinate subsidized internships with local employers, and conduct intensive case management for youth ages 16-24. Lead citywide outreach to cultivate community partnerships and ensure program delivery aligns with quality standards and work plan deadlines. Complete required documentation and reports while providing 1:1 career guidance, GED support, and postsecondary education coordination. Full-time, 40 hours/week, non-exempt. Bachelor's degree required with one year supervising a team of three or more. Bilingual in Cantonese/Mandarin/Spanish and English preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Experience working with diverse youth backgrounds
- Previous experience in program coordination, internship coordination, and development
- Ability to work with ethnically diverse groups of low-income youth as well as English learners
- At least 1 year of experience supervising a team of three or more staff
- Experience working with San Francisco's diverse communities and neighborhoods
- Experience working with community-based service providers and private sector partners
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and other technology platforms
- Experience facilitating workshops for youth and young adults
- Ability to work as part of a team, to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and to work independently in a high-pressure environment
- Able to lift or move at least 25lbs
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends
