Job Summary

Manage daily program operations for the Competency Restoration Program by systematically reviewing incoming court orders and assigning case-related duties to ensure compliant follow-through. Serve as the central liaison to the State Court, Oregon Health Authority, Oregon State Hospital, attorneys, and community treatment providers to establish viable community alternatives to the State Hospital. Ensure court-mandated services are delivered effectively in both community and carceral settings while aligning workflows with Oregon Aid & Assist statutes. This role bridges the mental health system and criminal courts within Washington County Behavioral Health Division, requiring a collaborative approach to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and take ownership of projects from concept to completion.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a social service, clinical psychology, counseling, or related field
  • Three (3) years of experience in the behavioral health field
  • Certification by the Mental Health and Addictions Certification Board of Oregon as a Qualified Mental Health Professional
  • An approved clinical license and meet the criteria of a Qualified Mental Health Professional as defined in the Oregon Administrative Rules
  • Must successfully pass background check post offer

Desired Qualifications

  • Background in providing Aid and Assist services for justice-involved individuals, including within carceral settings
  • Understanding of Oregon Aid and Assist laws and associated court processes
