Job Summary
Coordinate and support the Institute for Energy and the Environment (IEE) operations, communications, and community relationships. Manage program activities including event planning (e.g., Annual Alumni in Energy Symposium during Climate Week NYC), budgeting and record-keeping, drafting and editing reports and communications (annual reports, press releases, newsletters, websites, social media), assist with fundraising and grant management, collaborate with VLGS departments, faculty, students, partner organizations, and visiting scholars, track energy and decarbonization initiatives, and provide administrative support to ensure a highly collaborative, professional environment. Requires a Bachelor's degree plus 2–4 years of related experience, strong writing and editing skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an academic setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree plus minimum 2-4 years relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
