Job Summary
Execute day-to-day operations of the Trauma Verification, Review, and Consultation (VRC) Program by managing a portfolio of centers/sites and overseeing pre- and post-site visit processes. Validate information submitted in questionnaires, review assessments for completeness, and facilitate tracking through the entire review process to generate final or corrective action reports. Provide timely customer service to hospitals, committee members, and other constituencies while monitoring adherence to quality standards, compliance requirements, and internal policies. Collaborate with the VRC team to identify common issues, recommend workflow improvements, and participate in constituent surveys. Create meeting minutes, draft communications, and provide regular status reports for committee meetings and conferences. This exempt, hybrid role (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) reports to the Manager, Trauma Verification, Review, and Consultation Program in the Chicago office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- At least 2+ years of experience in a professional office environment, including project coordination, administrative support, and/or customer service
- Non-profit, association, or healthcare experience
- Strong writing, editing and communication skills
- Ability to consistently produce accurate, thorough, and high-quality work by reviewing documentation, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with established procedures
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze information, interpret standards accurately, and exercise sound judgment
- Excellent customer service, project coordination, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work hybrid schedule (3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote)
- Ability to work in Chicago office location
