Job Summary
The Program Coordinator provides primary administrative support for the local site, managing nominations, interview scheduling, and student personal information in Salesforce during recruitment. They coordinate logistical support for the interview process and the Award Ceremony, lead volunteer organization, and oversee Pre-Collegiate Training activities including the Writing Program and events such as summer retreats and the Posse Olympics. They assist with data collection and regular reporting for the Campus Program, manage travel logistics and supplies for campus events, and provide general office support (calendars, supplies, phones, and welcoming students/guests). The role reports directly to the site Program Director and requires strong writing, organizational, and multi-tasking skills, with preference for experience with youth, event management, Salesforce, MS Office, and design software; bilingual ability is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Excellent time-management skills
- Experience with youth is a plus
- Ability to work well with college students
- Able to work autonomously and within a team
- Event management experience a plus
- Proficiency required in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, internet and email
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and MS Access a plus
- Proficiency/Knowledge of Salesforce a plus
- Knowledge of design software
- Bilingual a plus
