Job Summary
Lead programmatic and clinical operations for the Lirio supportive congregate housing program, ensuring full regulatory compliance with funder requirements and agency policies. Provide documented weekly supervision to Housing Case Managers, review and approve resident assessments and service plans within 30 days of occupancy, and conduct internal audits of resident charts. Manage monthly rent reports, initiate multidisciplinary case conferences for arrears, and facilitate community meetings and Resident Advisory Board activities. Represent the program at interdisciplinary meetings, coach staff in harm reduction and trauma-informed care, and develop recreational activities to support resident stability. Maintain accurate electronic case management records and ensure timely data entry for admissions, income updates, and discharges. On-site 100% of the time with occasional crisis de-escalation duties and travel throughout New York City.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or equivalent degree
- The Program Coordinator position is one which requires the staff person to be present in the program site 100% of the time
- Occasionally expected to de-escalate tense, even hostile, client situations
- Able to travel throughout New York City, including regular use of public transportation
Desired Qualifications
- Background working with people who have experienced homelessness strongly preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish strongly preferred
