Job Summary
Program Coordinator for Arete Education Youth Summer Programs. Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing program activities and projects; creating and updating staff and student schedules; overseeing attendance procedures and daily reporting; developing weekly progress reports for program leadership; organizing curriculum materials; contributing to social media updates; representing Arete and partner schools professionally; identifying needs and recommending high-quality summer program activities; collaborating with cross-organizational teams; coordinating assigned projects within budget; assisting leadership with planning for special projects; serving as liaison with program staff; attending weekly program activities, trainings, and staff meetings; performing family outreach to support enrollment and attendance; demonstrating strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; proficient with Google Education Apps, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and social media apps; willingness to learn and grow in problem-solving and leadership roles.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Prior internship or work experience preferred
- Mandated Reporter and Foundations in Health and Safety trainings required (7-hours) to begin internship
- Department of Education background clearance
