Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of before, after, and summer programs by coordinating events, supervising children, and ensuring compliance with state licensing and grant requirements. Provide guidance to group leaders, conduct regular staff meetings and evaluations, and implement abuse prevention policies while monitoring participant safety and progress. Develop engagement strategies, manage curriculum implementation, and prepare compliance reports for the Associate Regional Programming Director. Coordinate resource procurement and maintain accurate attendance and expenditure records. Build relationships with community partners and support site directors in annual fundraising efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Education, Youth Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
- EDU 119
- BSAC
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination or management
- experience in a youth development or educational setting
- Understanding of youth development principles and best practices
- Knowledge of grant requirements
- Familiarity with curriculum development and program planning
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Ability to lead and support a team of program staff
- Ability to develop and implement program activities and curriculum
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
