Job Summary
Provide high quality leadership and supervision to overnight resident advisors in all program settings while examining and overseeing shift protocols. Promote youth and team well-being by creating safe spaces and proactively addressing negativity through trauma-informed modalities. Serve as the point person to address and report any crisis or critical incidents according to agency and regulatory regulations. Complete and pass all required annual training hours and workshops set forth by funders and licensing regulations. Maintain a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance for daily work and client transportation, navigating stairs as needed at various locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human services
- An individual 21 years of age or older
- The ability to identify with and adapt to the goals and philosophies of the independent living program
- Candidates with lived experience
- Sound judgment
- Knowledge of adolescent development and behavior
- Organizational skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments
- A valid driver's license
- Vehicle insurance
- Inspection on any vehicle used for daily work and transportation of clients
- A passing score on annual motor vehicle clearance
- The ability to navigate stairs
- Never having been convicted of any prohibited criminal or child abuse offense
- Minimum of two-years experience working with adolescents
- Proficiency in computer knowledge & skills
- Familiarity with the operations of external databases
- Familiarity with Google Suite
