Job Summary
Coordinate youth-focused programs, lead budgeting and supervision, build partnerships with schools, juvenile justice, and community organizations; supervise OTARY graduate interns and coordinate group sessions; implement evidence-based curricula; manage program evaluations and funding compliance; represent the program at resource fairs and community events; ensure growth and visibility of outreach initiatives; requires a Bachelor's in Human Services/Social Work/Criminal Justice with at least 3+ years of youth experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to work in urban settings; salary range $50,000-$53,450; full-time with some nights/weekends; location: Orange, NJ (onsite).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or Criminal Justice
- Master’s in Social Work or Counseling with LAC or LSW preferred
- 3+ years of experience working with youth
- experience in group facilitation and implementing evidence-based practices
- strong leadership, organizational, and cultural competence
- experience working in urban areas with at-risk youth
- excellent communication and public-speaking skills
- ability to present at community events and network effectively
- frequent standing, bending, lifting, and occasional heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
