Job Summary
Develop and implement high-quality programming within the YouthCOR Year-Round OST Program at Northwood Academy Charter School while driving innovation through creative, grade-appropriate lesson plans. Assist in training new staff, observe and coach site-based personnel, and assess program effectiveness to recommend modifications. Manage daily operations by overseeing attendance data entry, maintaining the food program compliance, and supporting enrollment efforts within the CitySpan system. Fulfill material requests from staff, connect with parents via Class Dojo, and serve as the point of contact for new partnerships. Maintain the Certificate of Compliance for licensing and ensure smooth program scheduling and communication. Work Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm for 30 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Elementary Education, Human Services or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an out of school time program
- Minimum of 1-3 years of administrative experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, preferred
- Knowledge of and experience in lesson planning and curriculum development, teaching experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a broad variety of people
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as part of a team
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, problem solve, and follow-through on areas of responsibility
- Strong attention to detail, especially with regard to recording/collecting data
