Job Summary
Assist in hiring direct contact staff, supervise home supervisors and direct contact staff to ensure they are on duty, and provide back-up coverage as needed. Ensure all direct contact staff are trained in required courses, in-service training, client-specific training, IHP implementation, documentation, data collection, and emergency procedures. Write implementation strategies for residential program objectives, attend interdisciplinary team meetings, and coordinate with vocational providers and schools to assure continuity of programming. Schedule medical treatments, therapies, and professional assessments for consumers while maintaining weekly contact with case managers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Continuation of education
- Experience working with the developmental disabled
- Two years working with the developmental disabled related assignments
- Clearance of any convicted crime, including felonies, misdemeanors and summary offenses
- Annulment, expungement or sealing of a criminal record by a court of law
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of Auto Liability Insurance
- Ability to work in the confines the client's home
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) with all personnel involved
- Ability to handle physical aspects of job
- Must be able and willing to lift between 10 Lbs.- 50 Lbs. comfortably

- One year of supervisory experience
