Job Summary
Coordinate meetings and events, maintain training materials, and assist in developing project protocols. Manage staff documentation, ensure effective inventory management, and handle basic administrative duties such as photocopying, mailing, and securely storing equipment. Create reports, presentations, and documentation to support project goals while collaborating with supervisors to onboard new staff. Monitor office supply inventory and order supplies as needed. Schedule and organize meetings for assigned projects, including sending agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items. This role requires regular local travel throughout the South Side of Chicago and surrounding service areas to support care coordination programs and partnerships. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- At least one year of professional experience in public health, social service, customer service, administration, or healthcare industry
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Proof of automobile insurance
- Ability to improvise, problem solve and adapt in any situation
- Ability to work on a team with multiple projects within tight time constraints
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to resolve conflict
- Strong verbal and written presentation and communication skills with all levels of employees internally and externally
- High level of integrity
- Demonstrated commitment to racial and health equity
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational, oversight, and problem-solving skills
