Program Coordinator – KC/Christus Nursing Apprenticeship

Program Coordinator for KC/Christus Nursing Apprenticeship serving as a on-site liaison between Kilgore College and Christus Health System. Oversees daily operations of the Nursing Apprenticeship program at clinical sites, acts as primary on-site resource for students during paid clinical rotations and for hospital nursing preceptors, ensures program compliance with Texas BON guidelines and Kilgore College/Christus MOUs, tracks student progress and competency, coordinates clinical scheduling, and collaborates with KC faculty and Christus leadership to align academic coursework with clinical practice. Responsible for student and preceptor support, evaluations, compensation for clinical hours, program monitoring including NCLEX pass rates and employer satisfaction, and contributing to continuous program improvement. Requires MSN, Texas RN license, 3 years acute care nursing experience, nursing education experience, and strong organizational/communication skills with ability to build cross-environment collaborations; will entail travel between Kilgore and Longview campuses and on-site work at clinical sites; background check and employment eligibility verification required.
