Job Summary
HVAC Program Coordinator position focusing on organizing and leading faculty, administering programs, monitoring learning, and tailoring course materials to student needs to develop employable skills. Responsibilities include instructional delivery (minimum 20 teaching hours per week), student services, subject matter expertise, faculty management, mentoring and training, and program administration (inventory, scheduling). Requires current CT HVAC licensing (S1/S2; B2 with D2 acceptable) and 3+ years as a licensed HVAC technician; 3+ years of post-secondary teaching and 3 years of leadership/management experience preferred; proficient with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Current Connecticut licensing: S1 or S2; B2 combined with D2 also acceptable
- 3 or more years of recent work experience as a licensed HVAC Technician or similar position (not including apprenticeship)
- 3 years’ classroom teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
- 3 years' of successful leadership and management experience preferred
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
