Job Summary
Coordinate recruitment, registration, and logistics for 12-15 Power of Parenting and Ripple programs across the Greater Boston region. Develop partner recruitment plans, maintain communications, and prepare technology and calendars to support delivery in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and other languages. Facilitate information sessions, attend graduations, and interview parent leaders while ensuring completion of registration forms and surveys. Monitor tracking sheets, communicate updates with partners, and build relationships to support program needs. Work evenings twice weekly, travel to sites and Western MA meetings, and lift items up to 30 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience successfully coordinating or managing programs/projects, outreach, and/or community organizing
- People-oriented with strong communication skills
- Organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
- Problem solver, flexible, and the ability to learn quickly
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English and at least one additional language
- Able to climb/descend stairs, bend, and occasionally lift items up to 30 pounds, such as supplies/equipment
- Must be able to travel to sites within Greater Boston and occasionally to Western MA for team meetings/events
- Candidate needs to be available to work evenings approximately two times/week
Desired Qualifications
- Former participant in Families First programming
- Knowledge of Salesforce
- Ability to communicate in Portuguese or Haitian Creole
- Ability to communicate in Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, or other languages spoken by the families we work with
