Job Summary
Program Coordinator-Fine Arts leads development, implementation, and evaluation of district Fine Arts curriculum and instructional practices to support student achievement; evaluates Fine Arts staff; coordinates staff development, reports, budgeting, vendor contracts, and event logistics; collaborates with internal and external partners to align curriculum with district goals; monitors programs to ensure outcomes within budget; organizes performances and communicates program impact; requires Master’s degree in education administration, IL license with Fine Arts endorsement, and significant teaching/leadership experience; AVID experience and strong data-analysis, collaboration, and communication skills are essential; this 12-month administrative role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a starting base salary of $83,453.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in administration, supervision, and/or other education-related areas
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate administrative endorsement (Principal, Superintendent, etc.) and Fine Arts Endorsement
- Valid, Appropriate Illinois credentials to evaluate certified staff
- Three years of successful educational leadership, administrative, or program supervisory experience is preferred
- A minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience is required
- Knowledge and experience with the implementation of AVID instructional strategies and methodologies
- Experience in the development and implementation of Fine Arts curriculum and programs
- Evidence of instructional leadership with a strong commitment to academic excellence with high expectations of students and staff
- Strong background in core content with experience with multi-tiered systems of support and data analysis
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in Spanish is desirable
- Experience with the integration of instructional technology to enhance the delivery of learning
Desired Qualifications
