Job Summary
The Program Coordinator is responsible for promoting and protecting the human and civil rights of program individuals, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, and coordinating care for assigned individuals. Duties include annual assessments, maintaining financial records, training providers on safety and compliance, completing home visits, and monitoring health and medical appointments. A Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field is required, along with two years of experience with the IDD population. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and engage with community resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in special education, psychology, rehabilitation, social work, or other Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) field
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working directly with the IDD population
- Valid US Driver’s License
- Ability to pass acceptable background checks
- Certified Investigator within one year of start date
